New Majestic Hotel, murals in rooms and a pool on the ceiling

The New Majestic Hotel is located in Singapore. The hotel has several designer rooms and suites, and the restaurant has a glass ceiling with views of the swimming pool.

Rooms.

The hotel has thirty rooms with designer bathtubs, art and vintage furniture. There are several types of rooms, attic rooms with six meter high ceilings and rooms with private gardens.

The Premier Pool rooms are decorated with individually designed pieces of furniture. Each room has a queensize bed and a bathroom with an hydromassage shower. These rooms have views towards the swimming pool and a price of 177€ per night.

The Premier Garden Rooms are similar to the Premier Pool rooms. These rooms have a queensize bed and a bathroom with a hydromassage shower. The room have balconies with iron bathtubs and views towards the hotel gardens, and cost 183€ per night.

The Junior Lifestyle rooms are mini lofts. There is a master bedroom and a separate living room, and each room has its own private garden. Rooms cost around 183e per night.

The Aqua rooms have large windows and in the middle of each room there is a bathtub. These rooms have private balconies and views towards Bukit Pasoh street, with a price of 201€ per night.

There are five themed rooms. Each one of these rooms was decorated by a local designer and each one has its own theme, with coloured furniture and murals. These five rooms are Fluid, The Pussy Parlour, Untitled, Work and Wayang.

There are three Attic rooms, decorated as lofts. Each room has two vintage iron bathtubs, two separate rooms and a loft with a queensize bed. An Attic Suite costs 275€ per night.

Each room has its own design. There is a room decorated in pink with plants on the walls. Another room has a large mural of a tree. One of the room’s is decorated with a mural of geishas with tennis racquets in their hands. There is a room with a mural of a colourful city.

Restaurant.

The Majestic Restaurant is known for its Cantonese food and its wine menu, which includes several local wines. The restaurant is decorated in shades of green and guests will be able to watch how their food is prepared in the kitchen. Lunch and dinner is served at this restaurant, where events can be organized.

The hotel is located in an ancient warehouse. The interior is decorated with local art pieces and many designer sculptures. The lobby has vintage furniture and Compton ventilators.

The hotel has its own gym and a sauna where guests will be able to relax. The hotel is known for its large designer swimming pool. The swimming pool is located directly above the restaurant, and the pool’s floor is made of glass, allowing diners to see those guests enjoying a swim.

Events.

There is a business center with Internet access. The hotel offers guests the Guest Experience Ambassador service. This service organizes events and tours around the city and the region, offers itineraries for those who want to explore the country, has a complete list of nearby bars, restaurants and shops, and shows guests what festivals are being celebrated in the region.

Location.

The hotel is located in the Chinatown district, in Singapore. Guests will be able to visit some of the city’s historical landmarks and monuments.

A short walk away from the hotel guests will be able to visit the People’s Park Complex. The Sri Mariamman Temple and the Chinese Heritage Center are located nearby. Guests will be able to visit the Merlion statue, located in Merlion Park, and shop in the many shops on Orchard Street.
