Hotel Henry, murals, sculptures and a designer pool

The Henry Hotel is located in the city of Cebu, on Cebu island on the Philippines. This hotel has rooms decorated with murals and regional decorations.

Rooms.

The hotel was designed by a couple of explorers who wanted to share their trips with the public by decorating the rooms with mementos from their trips. Each room is dedicated to a culture and a country.

The hotel has 36 rooms and two suites. There are several types of rooms: Big, Large, X large and XX Large, each one decorated with sculptures. All rooms have a flat screen television set with a selection of DVDs and a bathroom.

The Big rooms are the hotel’s standard rooms. Each room has a kingsize bed and a bathroom with a shower. One of the room’s has a sailor theme and a bathroom with a chess board. These rooms have a price of 60€ per night.

The Large rooms have a decorative mural on one side of the room and a lounge area on the other side. There is a kingsize bed and each bathroom has a shower. Price is around 66€ per night.

The X Large rooms are rooms with a kingsize bed and a living room area. Some of the rooms have a bathtub standing on a pedestal. All rooms have colourful murals and designs. One of the rooms has an Argentinian theme, and another one has an industrial design. These rooms cost around 72€ per night.

The XXLarge rooms are the hotel suites, and are the ideal accommodation for families. Each suite has tow rooms, and each room has a double bed. One of the bathrooms has a double sink and a shower, and the other one has a bathtub set on a pedestal. These rooms cost between 100 and 130€ per night.

Part of the room are decorated with many colours, and other rooms have designer headboards and murals. The hotel rooms have views towards the nearby streets.

Restaurant.

This hotel has two restaurants and a bar. Paseo One is located close to the lobby and is known for its German dishes. This restaurant has high-back chairs, ceilings decorated with murals and colourful decorations. Guests will be able to enjoy breakfast and dinner at this dining hall. There are four types of breakfast: American, European, Philippine and fitness, a lighter breakfast. The hotel’s other restaurant serves a variety of international dishes and regional specialities. Food is made using locally-sourced ingredients and the restaurant is decorated with sculptures.

The Scrapyard Bar is located on the second floor of the hotel. This bar is decorated with pieces bought in the flea markets of Berlin and Shanghai, and in the souks of the Middle East. Guests can enjoy views towards the hotel gardens from the bar. The swimming pool is located next to the gardens.

Each floor has its own theme. There is a hall filled with armchairs and novels on one floor and an art gallery on another floor, a place where guests will be able to see pieces by local artists.

Events.

The hotel has a large conference hall and a banquet hall. The banquet hall can accommodate up to ninety guests, and the conference room has a capacity for around 40 guests.

Each space at this hotel has its own decoration and design. Pamphlets about the city’s main attractions can be found in the lobby. The hotel can organize a pick up service to and from the nearest airport.

Location.

The hotel is located close to the center of Cebu, an ideal location for those who want to explore the city. Guests will be able to explore the nearby basilicas and fortresses, and spend a relaxing afternoon by the beach. St. Peter’s Fort is located a short distance away, known for its ancient cannons. The fort has views towards the city and the sea.
