Original Hotels

The Yunak Evleri Hotel is located in the region of Cappadocia, in Central Anatolia in Turkey. The hotel is located between the mountains and has the fairy chimneys that are typical in this region.

The fairy chimneys are natural structures formed through erosion that can be found throughout Cappadocia. The hotel has been carved into the mountain and has views towards the fairy chimneys.

Rooms.

The hotel has 30 rooms in six houses and a large XIXth century mansion. All rooms are double rooms with a private bathroom, decorated in an antique style. The furniture has been carved by hand and there are antiquities decorating the rooms.

In the main building guests will find the rooms, which can be double rooms, twin rooms, deluxe rooms and suites. The building has many passages and staircases. The rooms date from the fifth and sixth centuries, and despite the modern bathrooms still have a traditional feel.

The rooms and suites in the caves have hardwood floors and kilim carpets. There is a working area with a desk, chair and light, a safe, a CD library, a mini bar and tea and coffee making machines. Each room has its own marble bathroom and thick bathrobes and towels. The suites have larger bathrooms, and there are suites with a hydromassage shower and suites with a jacuzzi. Each room is decorated in a traditional Ottoman style, and each room has a private patio with views towards the plains.

There is a large patio with a lounge where guests can relax while sitting on Turkish cushions placed in front of the fireplace. The hotel’s restaurant is a large room with a terrace, and guests can enjoy their traditional Turkish meals inside and outside. The restaurant has another terrace on the roof where guests can enjoy candle lit dinners with views towards the fairy chimneys.

Events.

The hotel’s conference hall is located inside the main stone building. The conference hall is equipped with audiovisual equipment, a large desk and several chairs.

In the stone mansion there is a music room with a large collection of CD’s and a sound system. In another hall guests will find a computer with wireless Internet access. Another hall has a home cinema with a collection of DVDs.

Location.

The hotel is located near the village of Urgup and is carved directly into the mountain. Guests who stay at this hotel can explore the Cappadocia region, known for its underground cities, cavernous churches hidden in mountains and caves.

The hotel can arrange transport from and to the Kayseri and Nevsehir airports. Tours around the Cappadocia region can be organized. Guests can visit the many ancient caves located a short distance away from the hotel.

Restaurant.

The hotel has a restaurant that specialises in home cooked food. On the hotel’s grounds there is wheat and organic vegetables patches, and a farm with chickens, cows and pigs. The products that grow on the hotel’s grounds are used when making bread, pasta, jam and natural wine, and truffles are picked during autumn. Depending on the type of stay, the price can include a breakfast and a lunch and dinner made from local ingredients.

Stables.

The hotel has its own stables where guests can leave their horses and practice horse riding while exploring the region on horse. There is a pool with a view. Smoking is not allowed at the hotel.

Location.

The mansion is located in a 185 acre territory a short distance away from Urbino. Historically this was the place where the Dukes of Montefeltro lived, and it was this family that planted the oak trees that line the hotel’s grounds. The Panorama M rooms are larger and have a retro chic décor. These rooms have a balcony and a bathroom with a bathtub. Price starts from around 82€ per night.

The Panorama L rooms are the hotel’s largest rooms. Each room has a double bed, a sofa, a bathroom with a separate bathtub and shower and large windows. These rooms have their own private balcony. Some of these rooms can be interconnecting. Price starts from 92€ per night.

Restaurant.

Guests can enjoy breakfasts at the breakfast buffet until noon. Several varieties of Mutterland tea and Italian coffee are served during the meals.

Those guests who stay at this suite can organize private events and will have personnel at their service.

Restaurant.

The hotel’s restaurant is Fabrics, a place dedicated to international cuisine. Guests will be able to enjoy informal lunches made from organic regional ingredients and formal dinners.

The hotel’s large bar hosts events and guests will be able to enjoy DJ performances. The bar is connected to the hotel’s terrace, a one square kilometer space connected to the Spree river.

Types of Rooms.

All the Deluxe rooms have double doors that lead to each room’s private balcony. The Deluxe Queen rooms have a queensize bed covered with Egyptian cotton. The Deluxe King rooms have a kingsize bed and a small private balcony. The Deluxe Double rooms have two double beds.

The Superior King rooms are large rooms with a kingsize bed. The Superior One Bedroom suites are one bedroom suites with a kingsize bed and a living room with a sofa.

The Terrace One Bedroom rooms are the largest suites, with a bedroom with a kingsize bed, a living room with a sofa and a small balcony with views towards Park Avenue. A Two Bedroom Suite can be created by joining two Terrace One Bedroom suites. These suites have two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two living rooms with a balcony.

Restaurants and Extras.

The hotel offers several services to its guests, providing mineral water and daily press during the whole stay. For an extra 14€ guests will be able to enjoy an European breakfast, and for 10€ they will be able to enjoy coffee, sodas and tea during the day.

Some rooms are designed for girls only and are painted in pastel colours, with a price of 11€ per bunk. These Deluxe rooms are located inside what used to be the Police Station and are designed only for girls, with hair dryers, large mirrors on the walls and larger wardrobes.

Guests will be able to stay in the old jail cells, which have been remodeled into double rooms conserving the same structure, bars on doors and paintings on walls as when the hostel was a Magistrates Court, for 57€ per night. The rooms with a private bathroom can be individual, double or triple rooms, and the price starts from 45€ per night.

Price includes bed linen and a continental breakfast. Guests can use the luggage storage room where they can store their suitcases even after check out. The Clink 78 Hostel combines more than 200 years of history with the latest design. The hotel has managed to preserve the hotel’s two court rooms and seven jail cells. The courtroom that is now the television lounge was the place where The Clash had to stand in the dock for shooting prize winning pigeons, and the courtroom that is now the Internet room is said to be the place that inspired Charles Dickens to write Oliver Twist.

This Magistrate’s building is more than 200 years old. The hotel is located only 10 minutes away by foot from King’s Cross Station and St. Pancras. The building is located in central London, and it a short underground trip away from the airports, railway stations and the Eurostar.

The Welcome Hotel is located in Brussels, Belgium. This artsy hotel is filled with many decorations, art masterpieces and ornaments designed in various styles.

Rooms and prices.

There is a total of 17 rooms at the hotel. Each room is a double room with its own bathroom and an individual décor. There are rooms decorated with designs typical of a country or a region, such as Congo, Japan, Kenya and Vietnam. Tribal masks and country maps decorate the walls of each room. There are several Deluxe rooms which can either have a bathroom with a bathtub or a bathroom with a jacuzzi for two. The India Room has several statues of Ganesha and Shiva. The Bali room is decorated with hand crafted furniture and wooden crafts on the walls. The Tahiti room is made of bamboo and decorated with images of tropical birds. The Suites have a kingsize bed, a bathroom with a jacuzzi and a shower, a separate living room and a balcony. There are several suites, such as the India Suite and the Silk Road Suite. The Belgian suite is a family room with two bedrooms and a living room that has an area for prams, and can accommodate up to five people. Price is 200€ per night in a suite and 240€ per night in a family suite.

Breakfast.

Guests will be able enjoy a buffet breakfast. The buffet serves cold meats, soups, several types of freshly baked bread and pastries, fresh fruit, coffee, cocoa and tea.

In the lobby guests will be able to buy theatre tickets and tickets for guided tours around the city. The is WiFi available for guests and an Internet corner with computers and photocopying machines which is open all day.
