The Singita Sweni Lodge is a lodge located near the Kruger National Park, in South Africa. The lodge’s rooms are decorated with furniture made from local wood and wasted stone.

Rooms.

There are several lodges near this national park. The Sweni lodge has six suites and is located inside a glass cube on top of a platform. The lodge is decorated with traditional decorations and handmade furniture.

Each glass cabin is decorated with wooden furniture. The suites have a balcony and a terrace with an outside shower, and the bathroom with a bathtub is located inside the main room. All suites have a large double bed. The bathrooms, built with stone, have views towards the hotel gardens.

The furniture defines de theme of each room. Each suite has a large double bed made of wood and covered with mosquito netting, a bathroom with two stone sinks and a lounge area with sofas and regional paintings. The bed’s hangings are made from thick material, making each bed its own private tent.

The hotel has an active recycling program and only uses locally-sourced material. The ottomans, sofas and other furniture that can be found in the living rooms is covered by a material used in old Land Rovers. The beds are covered by covers that were woven by hand, and the floors are covered with cow skin. The Sweni Lodge is located on the banks of the river Sweni, and the decorations match the colour of the riverbanks, with armchairs the colour of carbon, moss and pistachio and dark wooden beams. The bath amenities and cleaning products are made from natural ingredients.

Price is around 2000€ per night. Price includes breakfast, lunch and dinner accompanied by liquors and wine.For this prices, guests will be able to enjoy Land Rover safaris, tours on mountain bicycles and guided walking tours. There is a complimentary transfer to and from the nearest airport.

Dining.

The lodge has a dining hall and a lounge where guests will be able to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel’s cellar is located next to the lounge, close to the main kitchen. The bar area has a brick fireplace and is decorated with lamps in the shape of vines and decorated with bird nests made of glass.

The wine cellar has more than twenty thousand bottles of wine from vineyards from all over the country. Guests will be able taste a variety of local wines and guests will be able to choose the bottles they want to take home with them.

The hotel sells carved sculptures and paintings my local artists, wooden furniture and other decorations typical of this area. There is a jewellery store next to the lobby.

One of the buildings has a large spa where guests can enjoy a variety of spa treatments. The hotel offers body massages and exfoliation with local products. The nearby lodges located next to the national park have a gym. The lodge has a large swimming pool with views towards the river.

Events.

The lodge has Internet access. There are no conference rooms at this hotel, where events can be celebrated in the main common room equipped with a large flat screen and sofas.

Location.

The hotel is located on the territory of the Kruger National park. Guests will be able to enjoy safari tours around the park, which is close to the border with Mozambique. Bird-watching activities are organized by the hotel, and there is a large observation deck for guests who want o see local animals wandering around the park.

The hotel can organize many tours for guests. Guests who are into game hunting can take a private tour in a Land Rover, and there are night safaris around the park. Guided walking tours are organized around the national park. Mountain bikes and other biking gear is available for rent. There are star-gazing safaris for those who want to see the African skies.

The Le Pavillon Hotel is located in New Orleans, in the state of Louisiana in the United States. This colonial building has large rooms decorated with antique furniture.

Rooms.

The hotel has several types of rooms. All rooms are double rooms with a private bathroom, and each one has colonial furniture and paintings. Each room has two chairs with high backs, a wooden round table and colourful cushions. A bathrobe is provided for each guest in the bathroom. Bathrooms have stone counter tops. The Leisure King rooms are studio rooms. Each room has a kingsize bed and a living room area with a coffee table, a sofa and three large windows. There are several themed suites at the hotel. The Contemporary suite has Imperial French decorations, two large rooms with kingsize beds, two bathrooms and a lounge with a decorative chimney next to the bar area. The Oriental suite has two double rooms. Each room has a queensize, four-poster bed and a private bathroom. The lounge has a marble fireplace and a grandfather clock standing next to oriental vases.

The Art Deco suite is a two-room suite. Each room has a queensize bed, a marble bathroom with a claw-foot bathtub and sinks on pedestals. The Victorian suite is a large two-room suite with two bathrooms. This rooms has a large chandelier that used to hang in the lobby and hand carved furniture.

Price varies between 102€ per night for a Deluxe Queen room and 115.45€ per night for a Deluxe King room. The Leisure King rooms have a price of 17381€ per night. The Art Deco, Governor’s and Oriental suites can cost up to 451€ per night.

The European Palace suite is a one-room suite. This suite has palatial decorations and a large carved fireplace. The room has a four poster bed with velvet curtains. The marble bathroom has a double sink covered with gold leaf, marble counter tops, a double shower, crystal chandeliers and a stained glass window. The European Palace suite has a price of 603€ per night.

The Executive suite is one of the largest suites, with two double rooms and two bathrooms. There are two living rooms and a dining room, and this suite can be rented out for private events. Price per Executive suite is around 1134€ per night.

The Presidential suite is a large suite filled with antiques, chandeliers and carved wooden furniture. This suite has two large double rooms, each one with its own bathroom. The suite has its own meeting space, a living room and a dining room. The Presidential suite has a price of 1286€ per night.

Restaurant.

The hotel has several dining halls where guests will be able to enjoy lunch and dinner. The Crystal room, decorated with chandeliers, is a large breakfast room where guests are offered pancakes with bananas.

A selection of fruit and seafood is served during lunch. Traditional French dishes are served at dinner, adapted to the state’s local ingredients.

The Gallery Lounge is known for its selection of cocktails. This lounge has a large marble balustrade decorated with bronze and onyx. The bar area is decorated with three arches.

The hotel’s swimming pool is located on the roof. There is a gym and a jacuzzi next to the pool, close to the private cabins. Guests will be able to enjoy views towards the city from the rooftops. Dinners can be served on the roof.

The lobby is decorated with antiques and paintings. Czech chandeliers hang from the ceiling, and bronze cherubins decorate the halls. The lounge has a variety of board games and armchairs for guests.

Events.

The hotel has several conference rooms, ranging from the Josephine Hall and the Napoleon Hall to the grand Versailles hall. These halls are decorated with antique chandeliers and paintings, and can be used for a variety of events.

The VIP suites are located on the hotel’s third floor. There are suites with twin beds and suites with a large kingsize bed. Each suite has a double room and a separate living room with a tables, chairs and a sofa. The marble bathroom has a bathtub, a separate shower and two large sinks. These rooms can be transformed into triple rooms, and all rooms have views towards the main patio, which is decorated with murals.

The Grace Suite is a bright suite decorated with large clay pots. The room has a kingsize bed and a carved wardrobe. The living room has a table, chairs, armchairs and a sofa. There are floor-to-ceiling windows and decorations by local designer Chi Peng. Price per double room is around 116€ per night, and price for a night in the Grace suite is around 196€ per night.

Restaurant.

The Yi House is the hotel bistro, located on the grounds of the ancient Yi House. The bistro offers a variety of seafood and is known for its wine cellar. The star of the menu are the Alaskan King Crab legs, served with a variety of sauces.

Bar 798 is one of the most popular bars in the city, known for its selection of cocktails. After enjoying a cocktail guests can relax on the terrace and try a variety of Asian and Mediterranean dishes.

The hotel has a gym where guests will be able to practice several sports. The hotel can organize trips around the region and guided tours for guests who want to visit nearby monuments.

Events.

This hotel has a large conference hall where a variety of events can be organized. There is a business center with several laptops and WiFi access on one of the floors. The Yi House bistro can be used for private dinners.

Location.

This hotel is located in the 798 Art Zone of Beijing. The building where the hotel is located used to be a glass factory, and was later on transformed into a large art gallery. A short distance away from the hotel guests will find several ancient temples. Guests will be able to visit the Forbidden City, which was built by the third emperor of the Ming dynasty.

The Frans Indongo Lodge is located in Otjiwarongo, a city in Namibia. This hotel has rooms decorated in the traditional, local style, and a large swimming pool with views towards the savannah.

Rooms.

The hotel has fourteen rooms. There are two double rooms, two family rooms and eights chalets that can be transformed into family rooms. There are two separate individual rooms for safari guides accompanying groups on guided tours. The double rooms have a double bed and traditional Ovambo decorations.

There are large earthen pots, woven storage baskets and figurines carved out of wood. The lodges were built using local materials, including  natural stone and reeds. There are large camping grounds located next to the hotel, in the Frans Indongo Farm. The camping grounds are ideal for tents and have a private space for six guests and three areas that can accommodate groups of up to 20 guests. There are three bathrooms and three shower rooms for women and three bathrooms with three shower rooms for men on the farm territory. Guests will find wood for the camping fires in one of the sheds. These camping grounds are known for their sunsets and their views towards the hills.

Restaurant.

The Lapa restaurant has a large fireplace and a terrace area. The restaurant is known for its grilled meat, venison and local desserts, most of which are made using ingredients sourced from nearby farms. The spices used in the kitchens are grown in the hotel’s herb garden

The hotel has a large wooden observation deck from where guests will be able to see the animals that come to a nearby waterhole, located next to the hotel. There is a tall watchtower nearby, where guests will be able to watch the local birds, some of which can only be seen in the area. The hotel’s designer swimming pool and lounge chairs are located in the gardens, ideal for an afternoon dip with a view.

The lodge is decorated in the traditional style of Ovambo houses, There is a large building where the restaurant is located, a separate pool house and the main lodge area.

Events.

This hotel has a large auditorium where events of up to 60 people can be celebrated. The restaurant can host company outings and family dinners of up to 40 guests.

Location.

The hotel and lodge are located near Etosha National Park, a short distance away from Windhoek. Guests will be able to enjoy a variety of safaris and visit the Waterberg Plateau Park.

The hotel can organize a variety of trips for guests. There are guided walking tours around the nearby national parks and game hunting tours. It is recommended to visit the nearby city of Otjiwarongo, where a large mineral museum is located. In Okarana guests will be able to visit its cultural center. The hotel organizes jeep tours to the plateau where guests will be able to enjoy the sunset.

The Cheetah Conservation Fund is located a short distance away from the hotel. There is a vulture sanctuary nearby. Guests will be able to enjoy a variety of safaris around the region. There are three trails that take you around the savannah, offering views from hills crossing the paths of antelopes and other animals.
