Original Hotels

The Arabias Boutique Hotel is located in the town of Maputo, in Mozambique. This hotel was one of the first hotels in the region and is decorated in a traditional Arab style.

Rooms.

The hotel has several double rooms decorated with designer furniture. Each room has a double bed covered with a colourful cover and a private bathroom.

The hotel is decorated in a traditional Arabic style, with thick colourful carpets and wooden furniture covered in leather. The hotel’s décor is dedicated to the many Arab traders who made their way to Mozambique.

The hotel has several standard, superior and junior suites. Each suite has Internet access, a large safe, a minibar, a desk with a chair and a television set.

The seven individual suites are standard rooms with a bed and a desk. There are two types of standard double suites, those with a double bed and those with an individual bed. The wooden doors are decorated with carvings and each rooms has antique lamps. Price is around 105€ per night for an individual room and 114€ for a standard room.

The three superior suites have a double bed each and there is space for an individual bed. There is a desk and a living room area with a television set and video games. These suites are decorated in purple and the ceilings are covered with vaporous pieces of silky material. Price is around 125€ per night.

The five Junior Suites are located next to the hotel’s swimming pool and oasis. Each suite is a double suites with a lounge area equipped with a television set and video games. There are large beds and the rooms are decorated with embroidered cushions and colourful furniture. Price is around 142€ per night.

Restaurant.

The hotel’s common hall is the Oasis, which is used as a restaurant. This hall is decorated in an Arab style, with carpets and cushions, and has views towards the swimming pool. The breakfast, which is included in the price, is served in this hall. Guests will be able to enjoy many regional dishes at this restaurant.

The hotel’s swimming pool was built using the design of an aquarium, with several round windows. Next to the swimming pool there are several hammocks where guests will be able to relax. Cocktails and local delicacies are served in the swimming pool area.

Events.

Guests will be able to celebrate their events at the hotel’s restaurant. The Oasis Hall can be rented for larger celebrations and private dinners.

Location.

The hotel is located in the city of Maputo. Guests who stay at the hotel will be able to spend an afternoon visiting the coastal towns and enjoying the nearby beaches.

This city is known for its many cultures, where the architecture and the food borrow architectural styles and ingredients from the Arab countries, China, Portugal and several nearby African countries. The hotel’s staff can point out nearby ethnic restaurants and organize trips around the city.

In the nearby Museum of Natural History guests will be able to find several galleries dedicated to elephants. Guests can walk around the historical city center, where the city’s cathedral, the central market and some of the main museums are located.

The hotel can organize trips to three nearby regions. Guests will be able to visit Inhaca island, known for its ecosystem, the Kruger National Park which has several safari routes and the Bilene Beach, known for its views towards the sea.
